Indian Pharmaceutical Association recommends celebration of National Pharmacy Week every year during third week of November. The major focus of NPW celebrations is to create awareness amongst the public, other healthcare providers and the authorities, about the NPW theme in particular and about the pharmacy profession and the role of the pharmacist in general. National Pharmacy Week is celebrated at Bengal School of Technology by conduction of a whole day Seminar with different events. In the year 2019, the Student's Day of National Pharmacy week was celebrated at our college and an Inter college Quiz competition was held comprising students from all over pharmacy colleges of West Bengal. The winners and runners up students were awarded with certificates and mementos and all the participants received participation certificates. Dignitories were present from the Indian Pharmaceutical Association, Bengal branch as well as expertise from industry and academics background.

In the year 2022, we celebrated this auspicious day by starting the day with inauguration program followed by Poster presentation competition and scientific sessions by eminent persons from industry and academics. There was a august gathering from different backgrounds at the program. The students were rewarded with certificates and mementos as prizes. Scientific session conducted in the second half of the day have helped students and teachers to gain knowledge about aspects related to pharmacy field. There was also a cultural program in the celebration.
